Specola: Francis Paints a Gloomy Picture

Specola (InfoVaticana.com, 1 September) is describing the mess Francis is leaving behind:

"The end of the pontificate offers us a bleak picture, as Pope Francis increasingly surrenders to the ecological left.

The harvest is hard to hide: empty seminaries, deserted churches, an increasingly abandoned St Peter's Square.

He likes to talk about things he knows nothing about and which, above all, are not the business of a pastor of souls.

We wonder on what basis he can begin to discuss questions of physics, engineering and chemistry.

In the Vatican there is no more talk of spiritual direction, Eucharistic adoration, forty hours, spiritual exercises, but only of ecology, climate change, inclusiveness.

Jorge......not so much 'surrendering to the ecological left', but enthusiastically embracing it and selling it to the Church & the world from the Chair of Peter.

Bergoglio has established the long-prophesied "ape of the Church" - it's here, folks, and synodality will further its hold on unsuspecting laity and compliant clergy. Word has it that newly chosen and consecrated bishops are being counseled not to be "clerical" - translated this means don't appear rigid by standing up for the dogma of the Faith - rather be soft and welcoming, create an atmosphere of synodality - where the relativism of everyone's opinion finds room in the inn of the Church. In the words of Bergoglio, where everyone is welcome. In the "ape of the Church" transformation from sin and vice "in Christ" is no longer a goal or expectation - the Good News of Jesus Christ is reduced to platitudes about brotherly love, mercy, mutual acceptance of everyone, and care for the earth - consequently the power of the Sacraments is diminished or lost altogether - and many souls will fall down the slippery slope to hell. BE part of the resistance, friends - cling to the apostolic Faith, once delivered to the Saints, at all cost! Pray the Rosary - wear the Brown Scapular - and keep the First Friday and First Saturday devotions - attend the TLM if at all possible!

A "pastor" who proclaimed Mother Mary wasnt born Holy, who said Jesus didnt multiply the loaves and fishes, who signed a declaration which says "all religions are well viewed by God", elevates all things gay and persecutes the latin mass...

We must never forget the present pontificate also closed churches and pushed the experimental shot as an act of charity. This is a grave violation of a person’s freedom of conscience.
