Hypocrisy Pure: Francis Praises Benedict XVI's Heritage
Joseph Ratzinger is a teacher who “educates us to think in order to live our relationship with God and with others ever more profoundly”, Francis bubbled during the November 13 award ceremony for the Ratzinger Prize.
Francis used the prize as “an opportunity to address once again our affectionate, grateful and admiring thoughts to him.” Recalling Benedict's 70th priestly anniversary, he said that "we feel that he accompanies us in prayer, keeping his gaze constantly fixed on God's horizon."
Benedict’s pontificate is for Francis “characterised by a luminous magisterium and an unfailing love for the Truth.” For the rest, Francis is fiercely dismantling Benedict's heritage, not only the liberation of the Roman Mass (Summorum Pontificum), but also the reform of the Novus Ordo initiated by Benedict.

Benedict XVI met (PICTURES!) with four recipients of the Ratzinger Prize at the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in the Vatican on Saturday. The meeting lasted one hour and allowed each of the academics to discuss their work with the pope emeritus.
