Germany: Now The Dead Are Being Beaten

Münster Bishop Felix Genn, Germany, a former disciple of Hans Urs von Balthasar, has closed the crypt of his cathedral because it contains the tombs of three of his predecessors who allegedly "made mistakes in dealing with cases of abuse."

Specola (June 19) comments, “It's a bad strategy to think that attacking the graves of the past can clean up the present, it's a panic reaction.”
