Why is Pope Francis going to Kazakhstan? EWTN
The Holy See Press Office recently published the official program for the Pope's 38th international trip to the Central Asian country, which John Paul II already visited in 2001. The pontiff will reside the entire time in the capital city of Nur Sultan, where the VII Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions, the event that brings together various religious leaders from around the world, will be held. Four speeches are scheduled at the various meetings and the homily at the Mass in the Expo Square Here are the 3 reasons why Pope Francis will travel to Kazakhstan Sept. 13-15 for his 38th international trip.
