Cardinal Zen On Traditionis Custodes: Couldn't They Wait For Benedict's Death?

The Cardinal states that TC hurts many good people, and that it was “a bitter surprise” for him, that the allegedly “widespread consultations” before the publication of TC avoided him, a former member of the Liturgy Congregation.
For Zen, justified reservations against the Novus Ordo (1970) regard the way in which it is carried out with its many serious abuses [which are tolerated by the popes and bishops].
Zen addresses the elephant in the room saying that the problem is not "Which rite do people prefer?" but "Why don't they go to Mass anymore?" - and that half of Europe's Catholics don't believe in the Eucharist nor in eternal life.
The root of evil is for him the illusion that everything can be changed and the belief that Vatican II cancelled out all the previous councils.
Noticing that TC calls for the death of the Roman Rite communites, “Can't the anti-Ratzinger gentlemen of the Vatican be patient that the Tridentine Mass dies along with Benedict XVI instead of humiliating the venerable Pope Emeritus in this way?”
Zen's observations are accurate, but likely also useless, because there is no point in discussing with people who use pretexts, excuses and lies to achieve their illegitime goals.
