JK Rowling says she has received more than 3,000 emails thanking her for detailing her experience …

Intersectionality is a tricky thing. It's not based in rationality, so, there is always an irrational inherent contradiction built into intersectionality theory.

Rowlings' own intersectional value as a woman collided with the higher trans intersectionality. She received demerit for being white, and heterosexual and questioning the status of transgenders (she intimated that if any man without hormone treatments and surgery can claim to be woman- receive a U.K. Trans certificate and enter women's restrooms, locker rooms, and prisons - there will be posers who are fake women potentially wanting to prey or abuse real women- thus showing the non-objectivity -unreality of transgenderism).

She has survived cancellation so far by now afirming her support of transwomen who get hormone treatments and present themselves as psuedo-women, which Rowlings is perfectly o.k. with going to the bathroom or gym changing room with. As Ultraviolet once remarked, the left eats it's own. Question is, will her new capitulation be enough to keep from being devoured by the Social Injustice Warrior-social media mob?

Probably depends on her future behavior/ comments. Rowling is an immensely popular author and her books have directly influenced the beliefs of at least two generations and counting. The left spared no effort in making this happen. They imposed her works through every means and outlet they control, even to the extent of temporarily reversing their efforts to discourage reading in the education system. …More

If Rowling insists on directly opposing the results of their hard work, the Left is merciless. They'll turn on her and destroy her just as quickly as they did with Bill Cosby. Even if Ms. Rowling doesn't have any exploitable vices, her work can be academically "re-examined", found "offensive" and de-popularized. The same schools that were forcing a generation of students to read her garbage will be stamping the library copies "DISCARDED" and tossing them into the bargain-bin at the next clearance sale.

My generation had its own "J.K. Rowling" in the form of Judy Blume. Heavily promoted in the schools, the focus of reading programs built entirely around her books, Blume was the left's darling author for introducing children to "adult" subjects. Since her books were designed to present the left-wing view on those subjects, they haven't held up very well over time since the left has moved the culture has moved much further along since then.

Since Blume wisely avoids immersing herself in online social media addressing every topical controversy, she's been able to avoid this kind of back-lash,

Even then she isn't immune.Blume found herself crticized for "triggering" readers by the Left's Thought Police.

Good points! It all depends on how hard she wants to keep men who subjectively and erroneously believe they are women- out of women's private spaces. She knows the consequences of saying that 2+2=5 is not truth.

I always had reservations about J. Blume that an adult writing about the sexual experiences of teens was herself a closet pervert. I never allowed my kids to read her, when they were in school. Their teachers hated when I had them read alternative classics from the Great Books list, but when push came to shove, they always backed down.

She might yet. ;-) The left is fraught with revanchism. Not every Harry Potter fan has embraced the LGBT agenda much less the latest radical transsexual permutation. They'd best watch themselves or they'll find they've been denounced by the next generation of "open minded" readers just like the "intolerant Christians" they themselves they once criticized.

Now if only she'd renounce her Satanic books.
