Among all the false gods of the Arab tribes, Muhammad chose Allah and proclaimed himself His prophet.
In Scripture, God Himself revealed His name, identifying Himself as Yahweh.
Allah is a pagan god from the pantheon of the hundreds of ancient and false gods of the Arabs.
The god of the Quran—who contradicts the prophecies of the Old Testament and is not the same as the Biblical God—altered the history upheld by the Old Testament, which states that Jesus would be called "Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father," by instead bestowing the title of "last prophet" upon Muhammad rather than upon Christ.

Since there is no alternative word in Arabic to refer to the true God, the term is used interchangeably; this confuses the unwary and has led many to falsely believe that they are worshipping the very same God, Yahweh.
Muslims attribute absolute oneness (*tawhid*) to this false god—meaning that He is a singular entity possessing no distinct persons within His incomparable and unrepresentable nature; in other words, the false god Allah is not made in the image and likeness of man. The will of the false god Allah is destiny; his servants have no will other than that which Allah has willed for them. Allah’s will is capricious; he guides whom he pleases and leads astray whom he wills.
The god of the Quran denies the divinity of Christ, which was foretold in the Old Testament: "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" — Isaiah 9:6.
