Shock Pictures: Homosex Pseudo Marriage Staged In Austrian Church

Father Michael Kopp presided recently over a homosex pseudo marriage between two lesbians. The abomination took place in St. Margarethen parish church, Wolfsberg, Austria.

The parish belongs to Klagenfurt diocese which presently is without a bishop. The shock pictures went viral on social media among Polish Catholics (more pictures below).

Kopp has been until 2018 the head of the family office of Klagenfurt diocese. Since January 1, 2019 he holds the same position in the much bigger Graz diocese which is currently wrecked by pro-homosex Bishop Wilhelm Krautwaschl.

One heck of an unintentional self-criticism there, Gesù è con noi. Like I said, you're making this too easy. :D Even funnier considering your previous source said...

That's just beautiful. You tried to prove sarcasm is wrong with a sketchy website quoting Matthew 5:22 and then you quote Proverbs as a a means of doing the very thing Matthew 5:22 just condemned.

You either can't tell when you contradict your own Biblical sources or you simply don't care. I'm honestly not sure which is worse.

"Sarcasm has at its core the intent to insult or to be hurtful with no corresponding love or wish for well-being. ...Instead, the goal of sarcasm is to belittle the victim and elevate the speaker."
Is THAT how your source chooses to define the term? Good.

Try again, Gesù è con noi . You're making this too easy.

I'm just getting started. Now let's get technical.

Your source, and by extension you, both need to check a reputable reference for the definitions of "satire" and "sarcasm" instead of rewriting them to suit your own purposes.

Merriam Webster uses each term to define the other and lists each as a synonym of the other.
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/satire
www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sarcasm

Pay especial note to the phrase "satire applies to writing" which Jesus was not doing.

This distinction is further supported by Wikipedia.
--Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm
--In fiction and less frequently in non-fiction, satire is a genre of literature and performing arts,
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satire

What's glaringly absent is the central distinction your source made: "good vs. bad", the contrived moral connotation between one and the other..

Your source fabricated something that simply does not exist in established mainstream usage and is unsupported by major reference works.

Putting it bluntly, they made it up.

They took the laziest and single most intellectually sloppy way of trying to reconcile Jesus' method with His intent.

If you'd like to contest the matter, you need references that can credibly rival one of the most widely referenced dictionaries in existence and the most comprehensive digital encyclopedia ever created.

Good luck with that. :D

Meanwhile, I'll see your one lonely website with its dubious definitions and raise you another eight . When it comes to scholarly consensus, your source is as out of touch as its definitions.

Returning to your earlier point, this is why some "jesters" pride themselves. This right here... "Speak(ing) English very well" is simply a means to an end, dear Gesu.

I'm only too happy to reacquaint you with the final result. ;-)

"Sarcasm is the language that must be the official language of hell."
Biblical scholars disagree, Gesù è con noi. Sarcasm is a language spoken by the Prophets and Christ himself, particularly when addressing sanctimonious hypocrites whose lofty faux-piety did little to conceal the deep spitefulness they had for their betters.

In the future you'd do well to actually look these things up before exposing what passes for your rhetorical wit. ;-)

On a more serious note, before you begin quoting Scripture too heavily on who's going to Hell, I fraternally enjoin you to give Matthew 5:22-24 a deep and thorough reading.

A word of caution, Gesù è con noi Unless you can quote the jester directly or demonstrate a direct revelation from The Almighty, please avoid making claims about why people pride themselves.

You're free to speculate, as are we all. At the moment, I'm speculating your sour remarks are biased because you engaged a "jester" in debate a few weeks back and they beat you like a proverbial rug. I'm also going to speculate that speaking English isn't the source of the "jester's" pride, it comes from using English and using it with devastating effectiveness as you found to your discomfort.

Since you raised this subject, Gloria.tv's resident cartoonist also makes "fun of the grave sins that offend God". Strange how their near-daily Francis and the Duckie cartoons never attract your reproach. Especially since they appear more often than any other jester's humour. Seems you're focusing more on who makes the fun over the content of the fun. Is that hypocrisy on your part, Gesu? I wonder. ;-)
