Our Lady Cheats Coronavirus Decrees (Video)

Several hundred people gathered around the traditional May 1 procession honouring Our Lady of Sterpeto, Barletta, Italy.

Corriere.it qualified the procession as a "violation" of the decrees of the coronavirus regime.

Our Lady made her way from the sanctuary to the cathedral, accompanied by Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie Archbishop Leonardo D’Ascenzo and Barletta mayor Cosimo Cannito.

Faithful and onlookers waited and queued for Our Lady despite the presence of policemen.

Interesting point... The police weren't up for arresting several hundred people. They've been real tactical-tough for busting individuals but taking on a crowd, a religious crowd, that's an entirely different scene.
