Here’s a little secret: These conservatives rely upon BXVI’s hermeneutic to protect their faith. They don’t know how to maintain it if V2 was really a rupture. So there’s some dishonesty at work, motivated by a deep spiritual fear. But both “recognize and resist” and various sedevacantist solutions offer a way out. The great benefit of Viganò’s voice is that he is drawing more and more intellects from the former into the two latter options. We can quibble about which of those two options is the correct one, but this is certain: Unless Catholics abandon the conciliar religion one way or the other, the Church cannot recover, and this is the primary evil of BXVI’s hermeneutic.

Basically, a long way of calling Zuppi a conciliar hireling. But I can’t think of another bishop in the conciliar church this wouldn’t apply to. Are not Burke, Muller, Schneider, et al. equally indicted for their defenses of the fake council and the religion it created? It seems that, although +Vigano has opened the eyes of many faithful and some clergy, the hierarchy prefers to pretend not to hear him, in order that -like Zuppi- they can continue to enjoy the worldly benefits of the offices they occupy, however unworthily.
