Franjo u Desiderio Desideravi (29. lipnja) tvrdi da se svi trebaju pričestiti.
Potpisnici odgovaraju da je Franjo izostavio "bitnu temu pokajanja za grijeh za dostojno primanje Euharistije".
Objašnjavaju Franji da katolici prije pričesti moraju primiti sakramentalno odrješenje za svaki smrtni grijeh.
Ako sakramentalna ispovijed nije moguća, ali je primanje svete pričesti hitno, kao što je to slučaj kod svećenika koji slavi misu, treba tražiti sakrament pokore što je prije moguće nakon toga.
Franjina izjava da je sama vjera dovoljna za primanje svete pričesti "u suprotnosti je" s katoličkom vjerom, zaključuju.
