Your post title is correct. They're setting a dinner table. Not an altar. :D Seems a bit tall, though. Almost as if everyone eats standing up.;-) Beautiful wood, though. I'd be happy to take the table to a carpenter, have him drop the legs about eighteen inches and convert it into a darling sideboard for buffet dinners. :D

It's already happened in the photo as you're predicting. Look closely... Second head from teh left, against the wall. A female "priest" in some kind of "vestments", doing nothing along side the dude who, I'll guess, is supposed to be the "real" priest.
