Inventor of Christianity? On December 17th, the anti-Catholic Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari, to whom Pope Francis talks regularly, revealed in La Repubblica how Francis answered the question which saint he prefers. Francis said, “The first is obviously Paul. He is the one who constructed our religion.”
Lutheran theses coincide with what happened in the first centuries: At the end of his article, Scalfari writes, "In the early centuries of Christianity, the sacraments were celebrated directly by the faithful and the priests only served.” Scalfari continues, “Francis agrees on these Lutheran theses that coincide with what happened in the first centuries." The Vatican did not deny Scalfari’s claims.

Not surprising that Pope Francis prefers Paul, who is the model missionary. It would be a surprise if the pope, or any other Jesuit, favored St John, whose gospel was written in order to teach others how to live the contemplative life (from St Thomas, quoting St Augustine).
Doing good to your neighbour being mercifull this is all good ,but when its not supported by the Truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ , like "I,ll Forgive you but sin no more ""or marriage is between man and a woman '' or if you are in a second marriage wthout an annulment ''or cohabitating ,everything else before mentioned is useless ,because even the pagans can be good and mercifull

This is one of the problems I have with Papal interviews. There are no follow up questions.
Start with these:
1) If Pope Francis prefers St. Paul, why didn't he then choose Paul instead of Francis as his namesake?
2) If as Pope Francis says, Paul “constructed [sic] our religion ” how then are the following words of Our Lord explained: And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18 (D/R)?

Horns: Horny Phelan Moonsong does not impress.
Personally, I much prefer this charming little lady. As a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I feel delighted that my Pastafarianism has been respected by the Massachusetts RMV.

The fact that Francis repeatedly allows Scalfaro to appear as his official and non-contradicted mouthpiece, shows that Scalfaro is actually reporting the statements of Francis. It is the Francis deception to allow heresy to grow by letting speaking other in his place.
