The wooden Pachamama statue, omnipresent at the Amazon synod, is “just a female statue representing life,” Paolo Ruffini, the Vatican Prefect of the Dicastery for Communications, tried to fool the public during the October 16 Synod press conference.
Ruffini promised "to get information" about the artist and the meaning of the topless idol looking exactly like any other statue of the Andean goddess Pachamama (pictured right).
As a "personal opinion," Ruffini said that “looking for pagan symbols in the statue is seeing evil where there is no evil.” Implicitly accusing the Vatican of ambiguity, he suggested that “some things in history have many interpretations.”
Father Giacomo Costa SJ claimed that he never saw the statue, but nevertheless interpreted it as an “indigenous woman who brings life and represents life”. The figure is “neither sacred nor pagan," he insisted.
But how do Ruffini and Costa explain the fact that the statue was adored with prostrations, honoured in St Peter’s with …More

"Many martyrs died for not adoring 'the Beast' refusing even to simulate such worship" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2113).
Martyrs were often told the most casual outward observance or endorsing a certificate, was needed, yet none showed fear and won the Crown of Martyrdom. Pray for the conversion of Bergoglio and his minions who bowed their heads to Pachanama and then had the demon preside over the anti synod.

Look, Catholic brothers like these Marxist apostates mocking us and the Virgin contradict each other, supposedly they are the missionaries of the Indians and do not know what explanation to give to justify the pagan ritual of WORSHIP to the Amazonian pagan idol.

Of course they are trapped if they say YES then it is a blasphemy against the Virgin and also an act of idolatry. If they say NOT then it is paganism and idolatry that in both cases represents an act of apostasy by the anti Pope Bergoglio and his accomplices.

@eticacasanova Not to mention all the former pagan people in Europe, Africa, and Asia. It's all part of the novus ordo. Just like communist they try to hide the past and if discovered explain it away as something outdated or make up some heretical interpretation.

Why no one talks about Guadalupe, Juan Diego, that the 90% of the cristeros were indios or mestizos. No one talks about el Inca Garcilazo de la Vega, the jesuits of Paraguay, the capuchinos catalanes of the Venezuelan Guayana, Our Lady of Coromoto, patron of Venezuela (misionary to the indios of Los Llanos), San Martín de Porres (mulato), the salesians of Patagonia, directly sent by Don Bosco. ETC. Oh, wait, I know why: because of ignorance, they don't have a single clue about the history of the Church, of the region. And why? Because, knowing about the region that comprises half the world catholics has no value, because they understand the world through modern categories: it's an "underdeveloped" society. And, like that, you call yourself a catholic...

@Tesa And guess who is also participating at this Synod? Cardinal Robert Sarah. Remember that large pagan procession?
To be honest, I would prefer that the statue be a pagan... whatever. What would be worse is the suggestion, put forth by the people at "Where Peter Is," that the statue is a rendition of the Blessed Virgin. An outrage.

What a lying wicked numbskull this Ruffini is. Apostates and pagans in this video. Every one of them.
