The whole thing is the usual double talk, but the main idea is we have to get "trained" lay people into minority communities to completely undermine what ever might possibly remain of what was once the Catholic Church.
Spot on! And I have first-hand experience of this fact. When I did graduate studies in theology, ALL lay students [mostly female] had a 'free ride' with FULL scholarship from this foundation! The rationale was "well, diocesan & religious seminarians are supported by the 'institutional church'" Therefore it's not difficult to conclude that these recipients of funds will be expected to 'pay back' in some way!
I just received an email yesterday from the local hospital asking (begging?) me to "get caught up" on my vaccines - flu, pneumonia, COVID. NO WAY. But I got to thinking: what if some confused Catholic asked one of these 'pharma-funded' priests about their struggles with this subject - or any other hot-button issue [ex. contraception, etc.]. Will they receive a Catholic response grounded in solid moral theology & medical ethics? Or will the 'grateful minister' share how these drug companies work for the 'common good'? And why wouldn't he think that? They provided a generous GRANT to his seminary! Can't serve God and mammon!!!
