Multiplication of Loaves is Miracle of Sharing – Leo XIV

“The multiplication of the loaves and fishes occurred during the sharing; that is the miracle,” said Pope Leo XIV in his homily at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon, on 17 April, which was attended by around 120,000 people.

He continued: ‘There is bread for everyone if it is given to everyone. There is bread for everyone if it is taken not with a snatching hand, but with a giving hand.”

Here, Leo XIV reflects an idea that Pope Francis has returned to several times: that the multiplication of the loaves is not about a supernatural increase in food, but a transformation of human hearts that leads to sharing.

During the Angelus on 26 July 2015, Francis said that 'the miracle does not consist in the multiplication itself, but in the sharing'.

At the Angelus on 29 July 2018, and in various weekday homilies at Santa Marta, Francis reiterated that the true sign is not a miracle, but a change in attitude; the crowd learns to share.

On 25 July 2021, Francis said that the verbs used are 'to break', 'to give' and 'to distribute', but not "to multiply": "This is the miracle: rather than multiplication, it is sharing."

It's not so much we defended Leo. We were outraged that ONCE AGAIN, he disrespected someone called a Pope. Whether fake or real, NO prot should ever disrespect anything that is Catholic. And trump has no right to attack anyone with his evil life and evil deeds. They rather defend a prot than anyone else. They hide away and keep silent and not one word of outrage and condemnation on the Blasphemy he made.
At least fake Catholics are exposed. Not only do we know them, but so does GOD! They chose their god. They defended their god. I hope they are ready to face the consequences of that choice.

The second disastrous papacy! This nonsense has been around for a long time. I've heard it many times before over the years, and of course the Francis also spouted this nonsense. It is the age old heresy of debunking the Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ and the dumbing-down of the Catholic Faith - I mean we really don't want to offend anyone now do we, especially our muslim "brothers". Popes, bishops and priests and others who preach and teach this nonsense simply do not believe that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, the Eternal Word made flesh for us and for our salvation. That is why you will never hear them explicitly preach about the Person and Mystery of our Lord Jesus Christ. Like this pope, he speaks about "peace" but never about the source of the reconciling Peace that only the Prince of Peace can and does give when repentance, conversion, forgiveness and reconciliation with God through the Blood of the Cross of the Prince of Peace is preached and given. Personally, I am dead tired and done with the dumbing-down and debunking of the Person and Mystery of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Enough already! Laudetur Iesus Christus, nunc et semper!
