The Promises of Baptism

Fr. Jason Worthley speaks about our baptism promises.
Ultraviolet
Fr. Worthley has changed his photo of JPII. I'll ask the silly question why is the former Pope so purple? :D He looked fine in the previous photo

In truth, I didn't think of our former pontiff as "UV" because... well... high quality ultraviolet lighting often appears as a deep, deep blue on video and everything capable of doing so fluoresces into "Day-Glo" colours, including you!

Most laundry detergents contain UV-based optical brighteners. Depending on the specific additives, your white collar would be a retina-searing shade of blue-white that calls to mind the Lord's famous warning in Exodus 33:20. Either that, or blue. A shade of blue so deep and so intense and so sublime, I like to imagine it's reserved for the Queen of Heaven.

Something like this and it may or may not be my left hand.
