I'll share this information to do with the Holy Shroud of Turin & a strange connection with the tragic murder of King Louis XVI
In the 17th Century, "Christ warned the King of France, Louis XIV, through St. Marguerite-Marie Alacoque that he must dedicate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, building a Chapel for His honour and having the Heart depicted on his standards. This was presented as a condition for the King to be honoured by Jesus, to have victory over his enemies, and to have the devotion establish its dominion in His Heart. The messages were a consequence of Jesus's desire to have His Heart honoured as much as it was despised and humiliated during His Passion. The warnings implied a dire consequence if these requests were ignored, as this was presented as a critical juncture for the future of the Monarchy and the West. "From Wikipedia
"On 16 June 1675, Alacoque reported three specific requests for France, directly from her spiritual talks. These would have political and religious repercussions and would successively be realized under the Royal, Imperial and Republican French Regimes:
The first message was addressed to Kings: "He (Christ) desires to enter pompously and magnificently into the House of Princes and Kings, to be honoured, as much as He has been outraged, despised and humiliated in His Passion ... that the adorable Heart of His divine Son was received ... to establish His Empire in the heart of our Great Monarch,(Louis XIV) from which He wants to serve for the execution of His designs."
The second message was: "to build a building where the painting of this Divine Heart will be, to receive the Consecration and the homage of the King and of the whole Court ..."
The third message asked the King: that the emblem of His Sacred Heart " be painted on his standards and engraved on his weapons to make him victorious over all his enemies, by bringing down at his feet the proud and superb heads, in order to make him triumphant to all the enemies of the Holy Church".
Although a very reverent Monarch who prostrated himself during the Consecration whilst attending Mass (and insisted his Courtiers DO THE SAME) Louis XIV ultimately ignored the request from St. Margaret Mary Alacoque to Consecrate France to the Sacred Heart. Although the king was asked to make this public Consecration, and it was expected of him, he did not fulfil it, and neither did his successors, Louis XV or Louis XVI who allowed France to slide into apostasy, allowing freedom of religion, and signing concordats against the Will of the Sacred Heart.
Consequences
"On June 17, 1789, (the Feast of the Sacred Heart) exactly one hundred years to the day from when Saint Margaret Mary had written down the great designs of Heaven for the King, the Third Estate rose up and proclaimed itself a National Assembly, stripping King Louis XVI of his legislative power. On January 21, 1793, France, ungrateful and rebellious to its God, dared to decapitate its most Christian King as if he were a criminal."
A similar request was made to Sr Lucia of Fatima on June 13, 1929 in the Chapel of her Convent. Heaven requested the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Since it was delayed Jesus returned later and complained to Sr Lucia
"‘Make it known to My Ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, they will follow him into misfortune. It is never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.’
In another text she wrote,
Later, through an intimate communication, Our Lord complained to me: ‘They did not wish to heed My request! …Like the King of France they will repent of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread its errors in the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.’
Our Lord was here again making an explicit reference to the requests of the Sacred Heart given through Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque on June 17, 1689 to the King of France. As a result of the refusal of King Louis XIV – as well as the refusal of both his son and grandson, King Louis XV and King Louis XVI – to publicly consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as was requested by Heaven by means of a recognized French Saint of that time, the Protestant and Masonic Counter-Church successfully carried out the great upheaval of the French Revolution.
Jesus warns us that this dark chapter of history will repeat itself, and this time the ministers of His Church – the bishops, and perhaps even the Pope himself – will be among its hapless victims.

I found this morning that there is an odd coincidence regarding the Turin Shroud which connects it with those mentioned above - people who had not even been BORN at the time when Our Lord's image miraculously appeared on the Cloth. A prophetic announcement has miraculously been discovered on the Shroud which links it with St Marguerite Marie's 17th century warning to the King of France, & with King Louis XVI - found in the blood which gushed forth from the Sacred Heart of Jesus onto the Cloth.
It is an odd coincidence. Where the Soldier's spear penetrated Christ's Sacred Heart the Blood from Christ's wounded Sacred Heart ....seems to resemble a well-known profile of King Louis XVI.
