Most Traditional Catholics realize that we are living in interesting times, even times foretold in prophecy. The period in which we are now living has been called the Minor Chastisement, which will only be eclipsed by the Major Chastisement during the reign of antichrist. We seem to be on the threshold of apocalyptic events. The whole covid/vaxx experience has been somewhat apocalyptic all by itself. The current war in Ukraine also has prophetic overtones.
The Protestants are all geared up to be ‘Raptured’ out of here. The only question in their minds is whether it will be before, during, or after the Tribulation. Even the Jews are preparing to build the Third Temple in Jerusalem. Unfortunately, it is the antichrist who will be the one to build it and they will accept him as their Messiah. The Muslims have been looking for the last caliph for a while.
The March 25, 2022 consecration of Russia, Ukraine, and everything else was seemingly as close as the Church has ever come to fulfilling the request of Our Lady of Fatima which was given to Lucia at Tuy, Spain on June 13, 1929. Russia was mentioned by name in a sentence with the word “consecrate” and many of the world’s bishops participated after an invitation from Pope Francis. The spirit of the consecration did not seem to be one of reparation, however, which was part of Our Lady’s request. The persecution of Carmelite nuns was going on at the same time. Most of the consecration prayer was pure drivel.
The June 24 overturning of Roe vs. Wade was seen by some as a fruit of that consecration. Although it was an important step, America is hardly free from the scourge of abortion and Russia shows no signs of being converted to the Catholic Faith. Additionally, Pope Francis and the Vatican still seem to be hell-bent on destroying the Traditional Catholic Faith. The Abrahamic House in Abu Dhabi is set to open this year, which will essentially reduce the Catholic Faith to the same level as Judaism and Islam.
Only a few days ago, on the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul (July 29), Pope Francis published a 15-page apostolic letter, Desiderio Desideravi, saying that he wanted “to invite the whole Church to rediscover, to safeguard, and to live the truth and power of the Christian celebration.” It was essentially a doubling-down of the destruction of the Traditional Latin Mass and attendant religions orders by Traditiones Custodes (published on the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in 2021). Modernists have a habit of saying in words the exact opposite of their intentions. The timing of the publication of those documents could not have been more ironic.
Meanwhile, Fr. Richard Rohr, a longtime advocate for sodomy among priests and promoter of pagan practices at his horrific ‘retreats,’ was recently welcomed by Francis to a private audience at the Vatican. On June 11, for the first time in Italy, six priests concelebrated a ‘gay marriage mass’ in Bologna (Italy) with the approval of local Archbishop Zuppi, who is also the president of the Italian Episcopal Conference. There is nothing like calling down the wrath of God upon yourself.
Next year, 2023, is supposed to be the final year of the Synod on Synodality. The Germans have taken the lead in calling for married priests, women priests, and blessings of homosexual couples. It has gotten so bad that a group of bishops and cardinals released a letter – “Fraternal Open Letter to Our Brother Bishops in Germany” – warning the Germans not to stray from the Faith. Even the recently released logo of the Jubilee Year 2025 has an obvious homosexual theme.
This recalls to the mind a warning issued by Our Lady to Sr. Agnes of Akita, Japan on October 13, 1973:
“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead …”
“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres … churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.”
“The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them. Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved.”
Benedict XVI commented at one time that the message of Akita was essentially the same as that of Fatima. The disagreement among cardinals and bishops is now in the open. Ever since the leak of the Roe vs. Wade decision many churches in the US have been vandalized. As always, Our Lady recommends the Rosary to deliver us from evil. NB: Our Lady obviously believes in the literal, global flood (deluge).
The war in Ukraine threatens to unleash the “annihilation of nations” foretold at Fatima. That seems to line up with the “terrible punishment” foretold at Akita. John Paul II’s comment on the Third Secret in 1980 at Fulda, Germany mentioned that “oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish …” Although the March 25 consecration did mention Russia and many bishops participated, it still did not completely fulfill the request that the Pope order all bishops to perform it and that Russia be the sole object of the consecration in a spirit of reparation, with the object being to place the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary next to that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Another thing John Paul II mentioned about the Third Secret at Fulda was this: “Given the seriousness of the contents, my predecessors in the Petrine office diplomatically preferred to postpone publication so as not to encourage the world power of Communism to make certain moves.” That does not correlate with the secret released in the year 2000, which makes some people believe that there is more to the Third Secret than what was released. Given the moves that Russia is now making in the Ukraine, it would be very interesting to know what else was said. Antonio Socci in the Fourth Secret of Fatima and Christopher Ferrara in The Secret Still Silenced convincingly showed that Vatican authorities continue to hide a critical portion of the Third Secret. There are those who believe that the Fatima promises will not be fulfilled until the entire contents of the Third Secret are released.
The June 13, 1929 Fatima request, together with several notable 100-year warning periods (French consecration to the Sacred Heart, Leo XIII’s vision of Satan’s dialogue with God, 100 years for Noah to build the ark) leads some people to believe that June 13, 2029 could be a significant date. It happens to be a Wednesday, and Marie-Julie Jahenny said that the Three Days of Darkness would be on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Marie-Julie also said that the Three Days of Darkness wherein all the demons of hell would be released would be preceded 37 days by two days of darkness (without demons). Before that time, there would be one day of darkness, and another day with a period of darkness. I have not noticed that any of that has happened yet. Stay tuned.
Ven. Mary of Agreda once said:
“I have been informed of a great mystery, which affords us consolation in this conflict of the holy Church against her wicked enemies. Namely, on account of this triumph of most holy Mary and on account of another, which She gained over the demons after the Ascension of our Lord, the Almighty, in reward of her battles, decreed, that through her intercession and virtue all the heresies and sects of the world against the holy Church were to be destroyed and extinguished. The time appointed for this blessing was not made known to me; probably, the fulfillment of this decree is dependent upon some tacit and unknown condition.”
That makes it sound like the period of peace promised at Fatima will be preceded by the Three Days of Darkness, on the condition that the consecration of Russia be done as requested. Although living through those three days will be grueling, at that point it will be the only way to restore Christian order in the world.
The Three Days of Darkness seems to coincide with various other prophecies of a Chastisement. Elizabeth Canori Mora said that there would be a crisis in the Church which would reach a peak when there would be two popes. The true Pope would flee Rome and die in exile. That is also what Pius X said, who even gave his name as Joseph. After the true Pope died, the Chastisement would come, after which a new Pope would be appointed by St. Peter himself, and would be known as “Peter the Roman” (also the last phrase in the prophecy of St. Malachy) and who would have been born near Rome. Blessed Anna Maria Taigi said something very similar: “After the Three Days of Darkness, St. Peter and St. Paul, having come down from Heaven, will preach in the whole world and designate a new Pope.”
Along with a reforming Pope, many prophecies mention a French Monarch who will rule the world during a period of peace. He is supposed to be a direct descendent of King St. Louis IX. It is said that he will settle a French Civil War. Other prophecies mention a civil war in Italy happening at the same time. With the current unrest in France and Italy, his identity may soon be able to be determined.
The Great Reset which the world’s elite cannot stop talking about also has prophetic overtones. The horsemen of the Apocalypse represent war, famine, and plague, all of which seem to be present now. The war in Ukraine, along with draconian covid plandemic measures, has sparked a global supply chain disaster. Talk about a digital currency with biometric access also seems to line up with the mark of the beast, without which no one can buy or sell.
So now is a great time to be alive if you like watching prophetic events unfold before your eyes! Just remember to say your Rosary daily, always wear your Brown Scapular, and make the First Saturdays every month. That way, the proper consecration of Russia can be done which will lead to its conversion and a period of peace for the world, all for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls.
