Before cancelling the sacraments in the wake of the coronavirus panic, Boise Bishop Peter Christensen, 67, Idaho, used “harmony and unity” as a pretext to decree that the New Mass be exclusively "presided" by "facing the people," not God.
The February 28 order was published in the March-April issue of the Idaho Catholic Register (article below).
Christensen also forbade receiving Communion while kneeling, and instructed the priests not to use kneelers or Communion rails as they may imply a "preference for kneeling.”
Further, Christensen wants every Traditional Latin Mass to be reported to him “along with frequency and attendance.”

"Harmony and Unity" are always the slogans of those who hate the Traditional Latin Mass. You heard it here first: That decree will stay in place long after Covid-19 is gone.
