It is “surely” not God who punishes man, when evil comes upon him, but man himself who acts autonomously and punishes himself, Cardinal Walter Brandmüller writes on Kath.net (March 28) about the coronavirus.
He calls all evil a bitter fruit of sin “but not a punishment of an offended and angry God”.
According to Brandmüller, the created man unleashed all evil in creation by standing up against the Creator and salvation happens when man returns to Him.

God surely DOES punish mankind. Christ's death upon the Cross, suffering the terrible punishment that we deserve for our sins as a pure spotless sin offering to the Father to appease His Wrath is surely proof of that.
When mankind refuses to repent and their sins increase, yet they mock and Blaspheme God, and no longer believe in Our Lord in as much as they refuse to allow Christ's death to cover …More

When mankind refuses to repent and their sins increase, yet they mock and Blaspheme God, and no longer believe in Our Lord in as much as they refuse to allow Christ's death to cover their sins, enabling them to be blotted out. That is when these sorts of Chastisements come again to the world, as a necessary judgement, so that we might be punished. God's wrath and His Just Judgement in times of great apostasy often come down upon the world, to alert us, and to enable us to make a timely alteration to our spiritual pathway. It is now we must pray, beg for Mercy, repent and go down on our knees to seek forgiveness, before we die and the chance is lost.
Pachamama opened up the entire Vatican led Church to Idolatry.
