Priests are to be respected but a priest is not always correct in all matters and when this occurs it is up to the flock to bring this to their attention.
However there are many ways to bring this to their attention.
First I would try to talk to this priest face to face (or mail to mail). And first try to understand his opinion.
Second: If no success, I would talk to this priest again with a help another Christian person.
To go public with the stuff it would be the last possible, but still bad option.
It is important that we resolve our Christian problems among us if it is possible.
