About 3,000 people have likely been infected with the coronavirus during the July 24 conversion of Hagia Sophia, an Orthodox church, into a mosque, the Turkish public health expert Sarp Üner told AnkaHaber.net.
This is only a guess as thousands of people gathered outside the stolen church on the day of the crime.
Osman Aslan who was assigned to Hagia Sophia as a Muezzin died unexpectedly of a heart attack in early August.

2 weeks after Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque:
- Someone covering the icons fell and was seriously injured
- The mufti died from a heart attack
- 3000 COVID-19 infections after the opening

Correlation does not prove causation. Further, it's a sin against charity to take pleasure in the minsfortunes of others. Meaning, of course, I'll probably be mentioning this next confession. :P

Hello @Ultraviolet - this puts me in mind of the evil that befell the Philistines when they pinched the Ark of the Covenant .....

1st Book of Kings (1 Samuel)

Chapter 5

"Dagon twice falleth down before the ark. The Philistines are grievously afflicted, wherever the ark cometh.

[1] And the Philistines took the ark of God, and carried it from the Stone of help into Azotus. [2] And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it into the temple of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. [3] And when the Azotians arose early the next day, behold Dagon lay upon his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord: and they took Dagon, and set him again in his place. [4] And the next day again, when they rose in the morning, they found Dagon lying upon his face on the earth before the ark of the Lord: and the head of Dagon, and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold: [5] And only the stump of Dagon remained in its place. For this cause neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that go into the temple tread on the threshold of Dagon in Azotus unto this day.

[6] And the hand of the Lord was heavy upon the Azotians, and he destroyed them, and afflicted Azotus and the coasts thereof with emerods. And in the villages and fields in the midst of that country, there came forth a multitude of mice, and there was the confusion of a great mortality in the city. [7] And the men of Azotus seeing this kind of plague, said: The ark of the God of Israel shall not stay with us: for his hand is heavy upon us, and upon Dagon our god. [8] And sending, they gathered together all the lords of the Philistines to them, and said: What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And the Gethrites answered: Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about. [9] And while they were carrying it about, the hand of the Lord came upon every city with an exceeding great slaughter: and he smote the men of every city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts. And the Gethrites consulted together, and made themselves seats of skins. [10] Therefore they sent the ark of God into Accaron. And when the ark of God was come into Accaron, the Accaronites cried out, saying: They have brought the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people.

[11] They sent therefore and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines: and they said: Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it return into its own place, and not kill us and our people. [12] For there was the fear of death in every city, and the hand of God was exceeding heavy. The men also that did not die, were afflicted with the emerods: and the cry of every city went up to heaven."

@Caroline03 One major difference... The Philistines pinched the Ark and the next day ole' Dagon was flat on his face. That's the work of God.
Constaninople fell to the Muslims in 1453. If this were God's handiwork, I doubt He'd wait 567 years before taking action.

I'm glad you brought the Ark up because what happened to Philistines was classic Old Testament Wrath of God. Plague after plague, deaths, misery, suffering "emeronds on their secret parts". When God's miffed, He lets people know it.

Jesus was the same way. He cursed the fig tree and -wham- that thing was dead with a capital "D". It didn't just get a few yellow leaves. It was toast right then and there.

As many people have pointed out, more people die from the every-day flu than they do from Covid. That doesn't sound like God's idea of Wrath. It's far too mild compared to His other Old Testament expressions of Godly displeasure against those who afflict His people. The Flood, the Nephilim, the Philistines, the Egyptians,, Sodom and Gommorah. God does not pull His punches.

Given His other displays, if God was expressing His displeasure at the (latest) desecration of the Hagia Sophia, I'd expect something straight outta Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

Yes, definitely, however, He sometimes moves slowly, a bit at a time, hoping that we get the hint - rather than releasing ALL His Righteous Anger at one fell swoop! His attitude towards Pharaoh amid the various plagues of Egypt comes to mind. Yes, definitely, however, He sometimes moves slowly, a bit at a time, hoping that we get the hint - rather than releasing ALL His Righteous Anger at one fell swoop! His attitude towards Pharaoh amid the various plagues of Egypt comes to mind. After all, not all Islam is anti-Christ - most just do what their Chiefs inform they should do &sincerely believe they are doing right!.

Rather than sending the Plague of the death of the First Born, Christ occasionally in compassion says "A gentle hint, here and there," might achieve great results, so that many might believe.

At the time of Pope Benedict's resignation, He let know His displeasure by sending strikes of Lightning! It could have burned St Peter's down - but a "warning" sufficed just to let the world watching marvel at what had just occurred, and see that God was in control & continue on knowing that God is REAL, & be more knowing that His Divine Judgement will strike a few of us ALSO in a short while!

Most Muslims at that Mosque are no doubt thinking "It's great we've a new Mosque!" Only God can judge their hearts! So Mercy is sent down, in light showers so that they can wonder about those odd coincidences beheld just soon after they inhabited the "Mosque" At least SOME of them may now be coming to the conclusion that they are displeasing our God.

Some say that the Pope closed the Churches. It is not the Pope that enabled the Churches to be closed, as we all are aware that such a Mass closure (pardon the pun!)) will only be granted permission to happen if God's Authority gives the stamp of approval to the development. He allowed a paganised Church to be closed (as various prophecies of Mystics Blessed Anne Emmerich, Marie Julie Jahenny, are two I am aware of) have foretold.

Remember that Fatima 3rd secret vision? The Angel with the flashing sword? That is possibly the Angel depicted in the Book of Genesis that God sent to bar the way to Eden, in case Adam and Eve tried to approach the Tree of Life. In the writings of various Fathers of the Church, we are informed that CHRIST is the TRUE Tree of Life who administers to us His Sacrament of life, the Eucharist, and the OTHER Sacraments of life, Confession, Baptism, Last Rites, etc...

Maybe part of the 3rd secret (since Christ HIMSELF sent this imagery to His Visionary) is that His people will have all access to His Sacraments barred at some juncture.

For as the Angel with the Flashing sword who prevented Our first Parents from approaching the Tree of Life, the sign is there that once again he might be sent to prevent US from being able to approach Christ within His Sacraments of Life.

Thanks for the chat! God Bless you and your loved ones. See you in Paradise. 😇

@Ultraviolet PS - the theory regarding the Angel with the Flaming sword that I wrote of above was not my own theory, I found it online about 5 / 6 years ago. Not only did the article make reference to the Angel, as a possible explanation for the 3rd Secret, but it also gave an added interpretation regarding the "Miracle of the Sun" of 1917 at Fatima.

They implied that a new interpretation may have been concocted regarding the Solar event at Fatima, and that the reality would cause alarm. Are you aware of an article that was to be found in the Guardian? It claims that a new planet was discovered by a teenage boy that clearly resembles the sun. To be perfectly honest, this was a hoot! Since, people have been discussing this "second sun" outside the media, online for years. The planet goes by many names. Nemesis, or Planet X, or most commonly Nibiru and is said by some to be responsible for Tsunami's and many Global events whenever it ventures too close to our earth and impacts us catastrophically. The theory I read warned that possibly we face the threat of an second impact from this planet since there is given further discussion that throughout the course of world history, it is this same planet that was responsible for the submergence of Atlantis, Lyonesse and other since called "Mythological" places. I looked at a couple of youtube videos talking of it, but not much since. Garabandal seemed to warn of "stars colliding" if I remember rightly.
God Bless
