On Monday the Vatican Secretariat of State issued a tweet saying: “Intolerance against Christians, especially in the name of ‘tolerance’, should be condemned publicly.” The tweet referenced a Statement of the Holy See delivered by Bishop Mario Toso at the High Level Conference on Tolerance and Non-discrimination which took place May 21-22 in Tirana, Albania. Last April 3rd the Italian website „Corrispondenza Romana“ published an article with the title „The drama of sodomy in the diocese of Rome“. It spoke about the tolerance for clerical sodomy and of a homosexual lobby in the Vatican.
