Before cancelling the sacraments in the wake of the coronavirus panic, Boise Bishop Peter Christensen, 67, Idaho, used “harmony and unity” as a pretext to decree that the New Mass be exclusively "presided" by "facing the people," not God.
The February 28 order was published in the March-April issue of the Idaho Catholic Register (article below).
Christensen also forbade receiving Communion while kneeling, and instructed the priests not to use kneelers or Communion rails as they may imply a "preference for kneeling.”
Further, Christensen wants every Traditional Latin Mass to be reported to him “along with frequency and attendance.”

“It was clearly the mind of the Council that the priest should face the people,” the Bishop of Boise told priests in his diocese.

Apparently the Bishop of Boise considers himself a psychic who can astrally project across time and space, float above the skull of those attending the Council and mystically KNOW with certainty what the collective mind of the Council was.
Impressive. With such powers, why hasn't man would conjured up a cure for Covid-19?More
