Sunday, March 22, will be a historic date in the United States because no public Masses will be celebrated anywhere in the country.
The last dioceses in Kentucky, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Texas, who first wanted to stand firm, gave in on Thursday.
March 22 is the 50th anniversary of the imposition of the Novus Ordo Mass in the U.S. and the abrogation of the Latin Roman Rite which can be traced back to the Apostles.
