The article fails to explain how this French organization reached such an estimate. I can say with certainty, the figure given for the FSSP's membership is factually incorrect.

You're absolutely correct and I'm shocked. That is the official website for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter. Checking just now, via Google, the entire website has been suspended which is... baffling. *sigh* Always something online... always something.

mm??? I believe it is higher than that. These stats were collected for those parishes where the Indult mass is offered. What about the SSPX, FSSP, CRNJ, St Pius V, et all? Not to mention independent traditional priests who offer the TLM. I believe it is more like 3-5%

There would be more, but they would face a trifecta of bishop, boomer parish Council and denunciation by letter / email from some 'Spirit of V2' parishioner. SP can count for nothing with those elements.
