« Bom dia! Estou feliz por vos receber. Muito obrigado por esta visita, faz-me bem. Quando eu era estudante, quando devíamos ir ter com o Geral e quando com o Geral devíamos ir visitar o Papa, usávamos a batina e o manto. Vejo que esta moda deixou de existir, graças a Deus!
O sacerdote fez-me rir, quando falou em unificar a pastoral dos Jesuítas. Eu tinha entendido que se tratava de unificar as almas e os corações dos Jesuítas, não as modalidades, pois se fizermos isto, acabaremos com a Companhia de Jesus. Dizia-se que o primeiro papel do Geral era “apascentar os Jesuítas”, e outra pessoa respondia: “Sim, mas é como apascentar um rebanho de sapos”: um aqui, outro ali... Mas isto é bonito, porque é necessária uma grande liberdade; sem liberdade não se pode ser Jesuíta. E uma grande obediência ao pastor, que deve ter o imenso dom do discernimento …Mais

« Bom dia! Estou feliz por vos receber. Muito obrigado por esta visita, faz-me bem. Quando eu era estudante, quando devíamos ir ter com o Geral e quando com o Geral devíamos ir visitar o Papa, usávamos a batina e o manto. Vejo que esta moda deixou de existir, graças a Deus!
