Regrettably the media determines how "civil disobedience" is perceived on a case-by case basis. Under these circumstances it's always negative.

If I were in a situation where I could risk jail time I hope I would have the courage. These RRR's have saved lives and on one Rescue the rescuers weren't even charged. If there were hundreds of them...!

If there are hundreds and the word from Pro-Abortion City Hall is "bust 'em", then that's what will happen. The media will depict it as a "riot" and law-enforcement will use the crowds as an excuse to indulge their violent natures.

If there are hundreds and the word from Pro-Abortion City Hall is "bust 'em", then that's what will happen. The media will depict it as a "riot" and law-enforcement will use the crowds as an excuse to indulge their violent natures.

This has been demonstrated repeatedly when "white supremacist" groups hold rallies -even after having secured the necessary permits. The leftist radicals disrupt the event, the police do nothing and when violence breaks out, the police focus on the "unpopular group" while ignoring the instigators. Then the media blames the "unpopular group" for the whole incident.

The same happens outside abortion clinics. Loud shouts are always the easiest to ignore.

Personally, I look at the successful political groups who -don't- risk jail time and ask, what are they doing right?

Consider the NRA. Why are they so hated and feared by the left? Three reasons. They're well-organized, they spend a lot of money on sympathetic candidates and they can mobilize a unified single-issue voting bloc.

Originally, Donald Trump wasn't "pro-gun" at all. He followed the "mainstream" opinion. Until he realized he had a real chance at running for president. Immediately he adjusted his views, got the NRA's endorsement and secured a guaranteed 4 million votes.

That's what effective political action looks like without any risk of jail-time at all.
