Tim Tebow: I’d Rather be Known for Saving Babies From Abortion Than Winning the Super Bowl

LIV-ing in victory, a reference to Super Bowl LIV, was the theme of Kansans for Life annual Valentine’s Day banquet held at the Overland Park …

@Ultraviolet, are you familiar with Tim Tebow's charitable giving?

Junger,
Abortion is a systemic problem that has infected the body of our culture. Not surprisingly this abhorrent sickness of baby-killing has affected so-called Catholics more than Evangelicals and, in large part, is tolerated by both groups

I don’t believe that throwing money at pro-life organizations will solve anything other than to help those organizations get larger with their sponsoring more functions and more protests but ultimately solving nothing.

Is there an answer?
I believe there is but it will not likely occur during our lifetimes.

Why not?
Because this “abhorrent sickness” has also affected the Catholic Church (aka: the once great unparalleled moral authority for the world) and correspondingly most Catholics. So Catholics have become apathetic, tolerant and, in the final analysis, accepting.

I like Tebow.

This is the point of Christ's observation with the "widow's mite".

It's extremely easy for ordinary people to look at a donation and get impressed because we're looking at it from our frame of reference and not a multi-millionaire's.

US politics shows that "throwing money" at ideologically dedicated groups does have an effect. The National Rifle Association is proof of that. They're not the only ones. Pro-Israel lobbies exercise a vastly disproportionate amount of influence compared to the size of the demographic they're representing. Why? One word: money.

Easy way to make that happen, Mr. Tebow. Donate half of your $13 million net worth to pro-life political groups. Are you still interested?
