The above statement is horse manure. Bishop Boys Foys got the call and it wasn’t from God. He was told by lawyers for the diocese that he’d be selling off church real estate to pay the damages if he was named in a defamation suit.

Jungerheld you do not see his words as an admission, a public acknowledgement, that he acted improperly?
I have to be a bit wary of the apology which, came long, long after evidence cane out, effectively throwing them the wolves. Probably written by a lawyer who sees the prospect of more than the usual abuse allegations and lawsuits.
