Merci Vatican d'Eux !!!!

What a disgrace !! If Jesus would be present I am sure HE will rip the vestments and kick him out of His Father's Temple !!!

"who are we to judge" ... Typical novus ordo modernist mentality.
What a pity....

This "prelate" is a fake, he loves adulation, it's all about him. A trend - sadly - in clergy.
When in fact he should be on his knees in front of Our Lord in the tabernacle. Not putting on a show. what a pratt.

Who's judging someone's heart?

The question is behavior. Is it inappropriate that the Cardinal, who is vested for mass, starts playing the One Note Samba (which I have on a Stan Getz album). It is a different matter if he were not in chasuble and miter and not it a Church.

Think of it this way: You are one of those present at Christ's Crucifixion, seeing His torn flesh and the nails in his hands and feet. Then someone then starts playing the One Note Samba. Would you think that is inappropriate?

I do.

BTW, if anyone likes Brazilian music, I recommend

St Thomas notes that encouragement in Psalms to use certain instruments (e.g., timbrel and harp) existed because the Word had not yet become man.

Maradiaga have said many things to confuse souls enough like putting a carrot to them like donkeys taking them from the good path and regressing them back to the road of hell, a doctor sometimes makes mistakes even though saves many, this mistakes could make people suffer or even take them to their doom (death) doctors can pay up for their mistake or sometimes people responsible to watch them their human and can't catch all cases, this is the same thing with priests... but GOD is all seeing and he always goes to their fallen away sheep and through other pious people they could come back to the path; but those who doesn't, they have no other recourse after death, so yes WE MUST PRAY TILL THE END for our priests to be HOLY priests, but at the same time we can't cover the sun with our fingers... Maradiaga, have said enough things for other popes in the past to kick him out of priesthood, so be watchful, don't accept whatever doctrine... pray for them, this music is nothing compared with his words... PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. God bless you all

No doubt that some liked it, but I wonder whether it inspired them to become priests or religious--or even attend daily mass and regularly go to Confession and say the Rosary.

I loved it! I bet a lot of the young people loved it too.
Dr Bobus
The sad thing is that the music was probably no more secular than what had just been heard at mass.

It's good that the Cardinal loves music. I wonder whether he also loves Gregorian Chant, which would have been more appropriate than the One Note Samba.
