It's not nearly as neat and tidy as Cardinal Burke says. The definitive text doesn't appear until 1997, with the editio typica. That notwithstanding, in 1992 JPII declared it a valid and legitimate instrument for ecclesiastical communion and a sure norm for teaching the Faith.

On the bulletin board was, among other things, a list of what was necessary to be ordained. On that list it said that having respect for women and homosexuals was a necessity. So women were grouped with homosexuals.

I do not know. I can only suppose it looking at the 1992 version of section 2358.
