The closest Fathers Belli and Radcliffe would ever get to pen and paper is watching their immediate superiors write out the weekly schedule for manure shovelling in the stables, weeding the gardens, and similar humble tasks.

What matters is to believe in Jesus, and if this guy can attract people for whatsoever wrong reason, and they start reading the bible... who knows they become genuinely interested and they leave this father behind.
First you will have to believe for some reason and then the rest comes automatically.

The worst thing is that blasphemies are treated as an expression of freedom of speech, and blasphemers are tolerated in the Church itself.
