Video: Turkish air force bombs towns in northern Syria and northern Iraq. Turkey: Time of reckoning has come. Also military posts of the syrian army have been attaced. Dead civilians and syrian soldiers.
Since the USA controls the airspace, Washington must have given the green light.

The Turkish air force is currently bombing the autonomous areas of northern and eastern Syria (AANES) as well as the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). Affected by the attacks in northern Syria are towns in the border strip, including Kobanê, Tel Rifat, Dêrik, Zirgan and Dirbesiyê. Turkish warplanes are also circling over Minbic and Qamişlo.
Several waves of attacks were flown on the centre of Kobanê alone within a few minutes. The bombardments also targeted Miştenûr Hill in the south-east of Kobanê, the village of Helincê and the neighbourhood of Kaniya Kurda east of the city.

In Tel Rifat, bombs were dropped on the village of Belûniyê, among others. A reception camp for people from Efrîn who were displaced in the course of the Turkish war of aggression in 2018 is located there. The nearby community of Şêx Îsa as well as the village of Şiwarxa in the neighbouring district of Şera in the shattered canton of Efrîn were also bombed from the air.
According to the press spokesman of the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD), Ferhad Şami, air strikes targeted the community of Zirgan (Abu Rasen), which is east of the town of Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain), which is already fully occupied by Turkey, also a settlement of displaced people, as well as a wheat silo in Dehir Ereb, a town in the north of the region. In addition, military posts were attacked of Syrian government forces. Air strikes on regime forces were also reported from Qizeli near Girê Spî (Tall Abyad) and Tel Rifat. There have been several deaths and injuries, the exact number is unclear. Among those affected are Syrian soldiers.
A large number of victims are feared in Dêrik. There, Turkish army fighter jets bombed the village of Teqil Beqil in the Koçerat region (Dêrik catchment area) several times. After a first wave of attacks, people from the civilian population streamed into the village to help possible victims. A second wave of attacks then began. Contact with Teqil Beqil has been broken off.
Twelve dead so far
Twelve deaths and dozens injured are reported so far as a result of the airstrikes on Rojava. At least six of the dead are reported to be civilians.
Air strikes in southern Kurdistan
In southern Kurdistan on the territory of Iraq, Turkish air strikes are taking place in the Qendîl and Asos regions. The Asos Mountains are located about 60 kilometres north of Silêmanî and a good 200 kilometres from the Turkish-Iraqi state border in the border area with Iran and have again been bombed frequently by Turkey in recent weeks. The Turkish leadership suspects that the PKK headquarters are in the Qendîl Mountains, but earlier air attacks were primarily directed against the civilian population. There is no reliable information on the extent of the attacks in the KRI. Turkish fighter-bombers are also circling over the main Yezidi settlement area of Şengal.
Turkish armed forces: "Time of reckoning".
Turkey has been threatening for some time to launch another invasion of northern Syria to extend its illegal occupation zone to all other towns in the border strip. So far, the Turkish leadership has not been given the green light for renewed massacres of Kurds. This is now likely to have changed with Ankara's accusations that AANES and its combat units as well as the PKK were responsible for the attack in Istanbul almost a week ago, which claimed six lives. The self-government, the YPG and PYD as well as numerous other Kurdish organisations had rejected the accusations and warned that the "baseless apportionment of blame" was intended to create pretexts to attack Rojava again. An initial statement by Turkey on the air offensive confirms the suspicion: "Time of reckoning: the perfidious will be held accountable for their treacherous attacks," reads a Twitter post by the Turkish defence ministry. In the KRI, the Turkish army has already been carrying out an invasion in violation of international law since April.
Green light from the USA?
The airspace over northern Syria is controlled by Russia and the USA. The airspace over northern Iraq is also controlled by the United States. Without the consent of the government in Washington, of course, nothing works.
