There are many defenders of the Vatican II sect who act as if one must accept Francis' apostasy, blasphemy & heresy in order to be or remain Catholic — no, the Catholic position is to reject heresy & heretical antipopes. Vatican II is a new religion: it is an entirely separate religion from traditional Catholicism. The aforementioned individuals (in a desperate attempt to run from the hard truth) dishonestly will excuse or downplay the heresies of Vatican II & its antipopes, even after seeing the proof that Catholic teaching condemns the scandalous activities of the Vatican II antipopes. One heresy of many which they cannot explain away (without being profoundly dishonest in the face of Catholic teaching on the matter) is the church's teaching against interreligious ecumenical prayer meetings:
