They disassembled the altar (left picture) and placed the tall, center portion of it in a prayer area behind the organ pipes (right picture). The parts on either side of it are now sitting in the back of a small chapel in the basement of this building. What happened to the rest of it I do not know. So sad.

Is that an "Abomination of Desolation I see in the other picture?

The “turn towards the subject” (and away from the object) couldn’t be illustrated any more starkly than in these photos.

Before photo is magnificent. After is horrible. No wonder they have no vocations! Worthless Novus Ordo and VAtican II "deforms".
