Abraham Tagit Sorang, a young Catholic from the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh successfully climed Mount Everest this month. He took a Rosary and a statue of Mother Mary for his journey and placed the Rosary and statue in the snow after reaching at the top of the mountain.
