Praying in Front of the Mirror

Let Us make man in Our image. (Genesis 1:26) I used to pray in front of a Greek Icon of Jesus I had on my desk. One day, realising that that image took my imagination to the Byzantine Ancient world,…

I congratulate you for the point of opinion that you have communicated, I ask you the following, do you recognize the divinity of Christ? Do you recognize that Christ rose from the dead and after a time ascended to heaven in body and soul? Do you understand that it is a mortal existence? , God protect and bless you.

refers to a Mirror image. Which could be referring the the passage in Corinthians
" And we saw in an immense light that is God: "something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it," a bishop dressed in white. "We had the impression that it was the Holy Father."

The Vicar of Christ and homosexuality.
To accept homosexual civil unions is the same as accepting freedom to choose a religion. The Church says Jesus is God, but she doesn't oppose if someone wants to convert to (e.g.) Islamism. The Church says civil marriage is between man and woman, should she oppose to marriage between two people of the same sex?
It's all about conscience, "the aboriginal Vicar of Christ" (J. H. Newman). Conscience is the bridge between the immutable doctrine of the Church and the unstable civil laws.

As to other religions, the Church is also crystal clear. One knowing that the Catholic Church is the true Church and refusing to join her or stay in her cannot be saved.

I took a moment to read it through, and to be honest, The "Apostolic letter" of Francis" doesn't sound as if Francis actually wrote it. If a Pope wrote it - then it is far more likely to have been written by Benedict XVI - it's more his style as an academic and lover of Tradition.
The wishy-washy hippy style of Francis is pretty obvious - it resonates when reading his documents. This letter is more likely to be the work of a trained Theologian with a respect for Traditional - Not Francis's style at all.
.....unless he's a schizophrenic. ?

St. Jerome teaches us: ibi Ecclesia ubi fides vera. In Breviarium in Psalmos, in his comments on Psalm CXXXIII, St. Jerome reminds his readers that heretics took churches in their possession in the past and that the Church does not consist in walls (buildings) but in the dogmatic truth.

I think the Wolga Germans (e.g. Bishop Schneider's family) were moved farther east by Stalin because he thought they would side with the German army. So they ended up in Kazakhstan and Kirgisistan. Now, virtually all of them have moved to Germany.
