Teresa de Jesús is an outstanding Spanish series released in 1984, which follows the biography and work of St. Teresa of Avila since she was 23 years old. It was directed by Josefina Molina and starred by Concha Velasco. Throughout these chapters we see the adventure of the woman who mixes with the people and the nobility and who, in the midst of the most overflowing activity, experiences the most sublime mystical experiences. The one who had been processed by the inquisition ends up being the first doctor of the Church. Set in the 16th century, it has been shot in natural settings and decorated in Spanish cities such as Castilla, Andalucía, and Extremadura.
