Blessed Seelos was a 19th century Priest of the Redemptorist order who went from Bavaria,Germany to minister to the Spiritual needs of Germans who had emigrated to America.He died at the age of 48 in New Orleans,due to Yellow Fever.He is known for his great love of the Lord and his service of others especially spending many many hours hearing confessions in German,English & French.
