Fatima After 100 Years.
When we read the Glories of Mary by St Alphonsus, we can become a bit jealous because he tells us about great miracles performed by our Lady over a medieval people. We no longer see tongues restored by Our Lady after being chopped off or arms nor legs... we may think that we are stuck in 1080 BC; where 1 Kings 3 tells us that visions and prophecies in those days were rare and Samuel finally had them... We find ourselves in a post French Revolution society but today a 100 years after the visions of our Lady of Fatima; we can be encouraged because she inaugurated at the dawn of this Bolshevik period of history - 1917 and onwards with one of the greatest miracles of human history where 70,000 people saw the Miracle of the Sun! So as we continue in the hum drum time of dryness let's stop and pause today so as to let our hearts love Mary Most Holy and please her and her Son!
