Christ loves the sinner but hates the sin; therefore, we must try with love to pray for the homosexuals, child abusers, dope addicts, murderers, heretics etc. God judges, we must be an example but also admonish the sinner and reprove him says the Lord. (Lk 17:3)

Matthew 7:1 tells people not to judge when we shouldn't, for the rod with which we measure we will be measured. It doesn't mean never judge. In truth people judge each other all the time on things they shouldn't: how a person seems rather than how a person is... or sometimes even when a person doesn't seem to be doing wrong at all, but one judges them simply out of anger or pride without any basis in Truth.... that kind of judgment is what Jesus is condemning, and those who judge by it will be judged themselves.

THE BIBLE MAKES IT VERY CLEAR WHAT GOD THINKS OF THOSE WHO REJECT THE TRUTH, OR WHO DENIES THAT HE IS A SINNER. ....
"HE WHO SAITH THAT HE KNOWETH HIM, AND KEEPETH NOT HIS COMMANDMENTS, IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM." (Jn 2:4)

This is what I've been getting at all along! With every statement came solid scriptural backing and sound Roman Catholic exegesis on the text; Mr Voris offering his theological reflection upon the scripture and illuminating the bare words for us.
