Following the publication of "Summorum Pontificum" in July 2007 it was announced that the Vatican would issue implementation rules for the Motu Proprio. The source informs that the corrected version of the regulations could be presented to the Holy Father for signature before the Christmas 2010.

David Alexander writes on his blogmanwithblackhat.blogspot.com: “On Sunday, October 31, the eve of All Saints Day, seventy Assyrian Christians were massacred while attending Divine Liturgy in Baghdad. Amidst the horror, a five-year-old boy named Adam shouted against the Islamic criminals to stop the shooting. One of them responded by putting a gun into his mouth, and pulling the trigger. The boy’s courage for the sake of the Gospel, and the innocence of his tender years, by themselves would surely warrant the declaration, that he is raised to the Altar of God.”
