What Is Wrong Is Wrong: The former Archbishop of Manila, Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, has spoken out against divorce after a poll showed that 60% of Filipinos thought that the practice should be made legal. Cardinal stated that divorce is contrary to divine law and that those asking the Church to change her teaching are asking her to overrule God and ignore the Bible. Quote: “It’s in the Bible, unless you don’t believe in the Bible.” And: “Even if it is 99 percent surveyed who favor divorce: what is wrong is wrong.”

Too Close To Marxism: According to internazionale.it the controversial beatification of former San Salvador Archbishop Óscar Arnulfo Romero was allegedly blocked by two Columbian cardinals, the late Cardinal Alfonso López Trujillo, ex president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, and Cardinal Darío Castrillón Hoyos, Athe former head of the Congregation for the Clergy and of the Commission Ecclesia Dei. Both of them were very close to Benedict XVI. Cardinal López believed that Romero was too close to Marxism and that his beatificationA would have promoted secularist Theology of Liberation.

Leftish Intolerance: On March 26 Governor Mike Pence signed the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law. The bill prevents businesses from being forced to participate in homosex-marriages if they oppose them on religious grounds. Pence commented on the law: “Is tolerance a two-way street or not? There’s a lot of talk about tolerance in this country today having to do with people on the left” But: “Here Indiana steps forward to protect the constitutional rights and privileges of freedom of religion for people of faith and families of faith in our state, and this avalanche of intolerance that has been poured on our state is just outrageous.”

Good News: In December 2011, Catholic League Bill Donohue filed a formal complaint against attorney Naomi Isaacson for making a series of patently anti-Catholic remarks. On March 20, the Supreme Court of Wisconsin suspended Isaacson for one year and ordered her to pay $6,600 in court costs. Last September, the Catholic League succeeded in getting her equally anti-Catholic lawyer, Rebekah Nett, suspended for a year.

Yes Indeed, What is Wrong is WRONG! not just the Divorce is wrong, Same Sex Marriage is Terribly Wrong. Animals which do not have dignity and shame, they never do it why people? It is Wrong period but those who do not want to be spiritually guided and feel like doing it, then just do it, but don't ever ask for legality- you know already what would be the consequences.

Good to see that some Cardinals are not into the idea of "the tail wagging the dog". That silly and infantile North American nonsense has got to stop, that sense of congregational and individual entitlement, i.e. we have THE RIGHT to do as we please, and the 'majority always rules', so the Church MUST change Her doctrine to suit US. Good on Cardinal Rosales! 👏

Based on this premise, Lira directed “Karadima’s Forest”, based on real events. The film, which comes out in Chile in April, tells the story of a priest who sexually and psychologically abused dozens of boys and young men, and who was one of the country’s most influential priests thanks to his enormous charisma and his reputation as a “saint” – which was even his nickname.
There is great expectation surrounding Lira’s film in Chile, a country with a highly conservative society where 67 percent of the population of 16.7 million identifies as Catholic.
The film comes after “The Club”, by Pablo Larraín, winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in February, which also tackles the question of pedophile priests in Chile.
