"For 14 years after the abortion, I lived in denial and became more and more of an emotional wreck. On the outside to family and friends I was able to maintain an image of normal life. This is real life experience,know woman suffering post abortive trauma ...I tried to talk her out of it...she wouldnt change here mind,ridiculing me to stop making catholic campaign,
the baby was injured,probably would had die within weeks anyway,she said she didnt want to cling emotionally to ,,her,,and break down ,when its over..
She protected herself to go on untouched by all of it.. what a lie!!! …More

I feel like she put the curse on me..or something..it s all so wrong when I offer her helping hand...
Had a holy mass requested served for her..she wont go near church.
She admits she wouldnt end a single day without thinking of her tiny one..

@amarillo you bring out a good point. It does nothing for women and men involved in abortion to acknowledge the crisis they were in and not also acknowledge it was wrong. In the case of the person you mention, I can't imagine what she thinks of a feeling of, "guilt." It isn't the sorrow *required* as in, "If I had it to do again, I wouldn't do it." I think many women do not comprehend that they can …More

Many post abottive traumas look like madness,know woman who aktuálly believes it was right thing to do despite guilt she would do it again..we need to pray for them to stop live blindness,may Lord open their eyes and they are able to repent

These testimonies are very sincere. I have heard many similar testimonies where post-abortive women say they *knew* God forgave them, yet they could not forgive themselves. It doesn't matter how difficult their circumstances were. These women *know* they made a decision to end the life of their child(ren). It is very good that priests help women and men be reconciled to God through sincere repentance …More
These testimonies are very sincere. I have heard many similar testimonies where post-abortive women say they *knew* God forgave them, yet they could not forgive themselves. It doesn't matter how difficult their circumstances were. These women *know* they made a decision to end the life of their child(ren). It is very good that priests help women and men be reconciled to God through sincere repentance in the grace of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. But I don't want to think about how many priests will answer to God for their failure to teach the truth to their congregations, a courageous act that would prevent abortions and help more associated with abortion find forgiveness and healing.
