Gesù però non si scoraggia ma è davvero convinto che le cose possono cambiare anche tra le spine, anche in mezzo ai rovi, anche se soffocati dai sassi; anche se disturbati e abbindolati da quel bastardo del maligno che, sin dalla notte dei tempi, si diverte a giocare con la zizzania, gli uccelli e l'arsura per cercare di far credere - a coloro che gli danno credito - che, tanto, "non cambia nulla, tutto rimane com'è; perché affaticarsi, allora?".
Quell'Avversario non sembra essere però causa di rassegnazione per il Padrone: Lui semina, senza limiti, con abbondanza, senza esclusione di colpi, di più, mettendo in conto il fallimento, la perdita di tempo, il farsi ridere e irridere dietro perché il seminatore sprecone è anche un Dio generosissimo.
