After 46 years Marchers know the battle.

A firestorm in the media had already begun before this video showing the first moments of the Washington, D.C. 2019 March for Life. What captured the media? Not recognition of an estimated 500,000 peaceful, joyful men, women, families and youth groups gathered from the furthest corners of the country to protest 46 years of legal abortion.

Rather, a firestorm erupted because, in answering a common hypothetical question, March guest speaker and radio host Ben Shapiro said he would not – given the opportunity – go back in time and kill Hitler as a baby.

A few hours later, an opportunity to seek to destroy 1) male 2) white 3) Catholic 4) defenders of life 5) wearing MAGA hats would have the media foaming at the mouth, calling on 15-year-olds to be punched in the face and thrown in a wood chipper, causing their school to be indefinitely closed due to continuous bomb threats.

It would be good if decent people would open their eyes to the not-so-hidden agenda of powerful media and politicians.

It gives a glimmer of hope to see this young man seeming to be aware of the confrontation before him and acting appropriately – because it was the right thing to do, and not because he wanted 15 minutes of fame or a visit to the White House.

In the middle of these two events, I witnessed another youth in front of the Supreme Court building, a police officer clearly seeking to intimidate him and taking his contact information. He had been accused of something (really, anything) by one of three counter-protesters holding “Keep Abortion Legal” signs in front of dozens of women and men giving moving accounts of their regret for an abortion decision.

He gave his information and immediately turned back to the man who likely had accused him of some sort of intimidation. Undeterred, the youth asked, “Now would you like to speak with me?” With the man expressing no interest, the young man shook the hand of his accuser, expressed thanks for meeting him, and went on his way.
