A documentary on some of the negative impacts of the "spirit of Vatican II". I have no problem with the Council itself but I do have a problem with how people interpreted the Council as a break with tradition.
A documentary on some of the negative impacts of the "spirit of Vatican II". I have no problem with the Council itself but I do have a problem with how people interpreted the Council as a break with tradition.
While I am a consevative Catholic, both Theologically and Liturgically, I find the commentator's remarks are more-or-less good. However, he borders on the "fundamentalist" too many times, e.g. The papal tripple tiara has nothing to do with Catholicism, but with Imperial Rome and the Pontif's inheritance from this. I would be cautious in taking onboard all that this commentator says.
