Tragedy: At least 35 inhabitants of the Italian town of Amatrice have lost their lives during the recent earthquake. In the retreat-house, Father Giovanni Minozzi, ”Three of the six sisters are unaccounted for. Thirty-two-year-old Albanian born Sr. Mariana said: “I felt how it started to shake, so I jumped under my bed in the hope to save me." Also among the victims in Amatrice was an 18-month-old girl. Her mother survived the 2009 earthquake in L’Aquila and decided, after this terrible experience, to move to the area of Amatrice.
